빈대떡만 시키면 섭섭해하는 친구가 있다.

#고기완자 고기의 쫄깃함이 첨가되어 빈대떡 먹다가 중간에 한번씩 먹어주면 식감도 다르고 적당히 간이 된 고기로 이맛 저맛 다 즐길 수 있다.

겉바속촉 + 고소함이 빈대떡이라면 쫄깃 + 짭쪼름이 고기완자다.

개인적으로 모듬을 추천한다. 빈대떡 두장이랑 고기완자 한장이랑... 딱 좋은듯-!!

육회 탕탕이 등 있는데 개인적으로 육회나 탕탕이는 육회자매집에서 먹는게 좋다.

함 먹어봤는데 음.... 약간 아쉬웠다. (죄송합니다 사장님-!!)

1차에서 육회 달려주고 2차에서 빈대떡 달려주는 코스가 가장 좋은듯-!!

In Korea, we got that traditional market thing going on and you know it-!!

One of the famous market in Seoul is the Gwangjang Market for sure.

There are couple spots that are MUST when it comes down to Gwangjang Market.

For raw beef and octopus, #yookhwaejamae or #rawmeatsisters is the place to go.

For Gimbap, there is #mayakgimbap or #wonjonudecheesegimbap (original nude cheese gimbap).

If you are looking for that Korean Pancake, you need to go to Soonheenae, meaning Soonhee's place.

The pancake or bindaedduk is made out of mung beans and its got that crispy outside and soft and juicy inside taste going on to the MAX-!!

It's so full of flavors you would just melt-!!!

Ordering a bottle of Makgully is a must.

Even if you are not a drinker, a ssip would make you change your mind.

On top of the mung bean bindaedduk (Nokdu Bindaedduk), I highly recommend that you order a gogiwanja (meatball pancake).

It also has that crispy outside texture but the inside is chewy as there's meat there.

We ordered Hon Maguro Don.

It's one of their popular menu along with steak donburi.

The tuna just melts in your mouth and the rice is flavored just enough for you to taste the tuna but also let the flavor bring the rice and tuna together.

It is quite an amazing experience.

I highly recommend this place but I also should tell you that I will be visiting with a friend but won't act like I know him/her.

The 'Ang-Butter' bread is one of the best of the kind I've had so far.

The joinnig of Ang, which is referring to the red bean paste and a block of butter is new taste for me.

However, with the texture of 'crispy outside soft inside' baguette, the cold block of butter that melts in your mouth and that sweet red-bean paste that kicks a punch of sweetness in your mouth, you will feel like your mouth is in heaven for a sec.

I have taken many friends here before and each one of them gave me that 'aw' look when they first took a sip of the coffee and another 'aw' look after having a bite of ang-butter bread.

It's one of those places that you only want to take your 'good' friend to.

하지만 난 '돈가스' 먹으라면 미후탐 갈꺼다.

그리고 사보텐이랑 미타니야보다 가격도 저렴하다.

사실. 음식 품질은 더 좋은데 가격은 더 저렴하다.

There are some other franchise katsu restaurants that are near to the gyodae station.

However, Mihutam serves more delicious katsu but also is at a cheaper price level.

I don't know why I decided to have Japanese Ramen in Philippines when I could have some other local food there. 

Especially knowing that I am there for only couple days for business trip. 

All I can say is that I recommend that you have Japanese Ramen in Japan. 

Although, if I lived in Philippines, I would go for it... when I really really craved Ramen.

The noodle was thicker and harder than I would like it to be. 

It didn't mingle too well with the soup IMO. 

The meat (or chashu) was too tough and salty that I couldn't finish it. 

The broth was too thick and oily. 

This is all I can say about the bowl of ramen that I had there. 

The gyoza, or the dumplings that I had there was good. 

Crispy outside and juicy inside. 

However, I wouldn't visit Yushoken for a bowl of ramen again.

목살끝판왕. 

돼지고기끝판왕. 

다른 곳 갈 필요 없다. 

정말 너무 맛있다. 

육즙이 촬촬 흐르고 먹고 있으면서도 먹고 싶어지는 그런 고깃집이다. 

참고로 한번도 안 가본 사람은 있어도 한번만 간 사람은 없다.

강남역과 역삼역 사이에 골목 들어가서 있는데 위치는 별로다. 

위치가 별로라 다행히 내가 먹을 수 있구나 싶다. 

어디서 어떻게 알고 찾아왔는지 사람들이 바글바글하다. 

고기 한점 먹으러 와서 4~50분 기다리는건 늘상있는 일이다. 

​근육질 직원 분들이 고기를 구워주시는데 여성 분들은 눈이 즐거우실 것이다. 

그런데, 고기 한입 먹는 순간,, 고기만 보인다. 

육즙이 살아있다. 

소금에 살짝 찍어 먹으면 목살 그 맛 그대로 다 느낄 수 있다. 

두툼한 목살의 식감이 예술이다. 

고기만 먹으면 안된다. 

비빔국수와 얼음국수가 있는데 둘 다 시켜야 제대로 먹을 수 있다. 

국수 시키며 고기 일인분 추가해서 같이 먹어야 한다. 

비빔국수에 고기 한점 올려 먹는건 남녀노소 구분없이 다 맛 봐야하는 매콤 달콤 고소한 맛이다.

​The restaurant is located on an alley between Gangnam and Yeoksam station. 

It's not an average 'hot spot' kind of location. 

But there is a line. You will have to patiently wait. 

But this wait is worth every second. 

The meat is served thick. 

The way it grills makes you drool. 

It is thick meat is tender and juice oozing out will make the meat melt in your mouth. 

Gotta have it with a bit of salt. 

That's my favorite. 

They serve the bean sprout with spices and cooked in front of you along the boston butt. Have them together. 

It's heavenly. 

​Of course, you are in Asia. You cannot skip the noodle. 

Order both iced (cold soup) and spicy one (no soup). 

When you order the noodle, order one more order of boston butt. 

Take each bite of noodle with the bite of boston butt. 

It will make you get off your butt and dance. It is that good..

​국수에 고기 고명과 대파를 올린다. 

대파는 푹 익은게 부드럽고 달달하다. 

한입 가득 넣어 씹으며 국물을 한모금 마신다. 

매운 맛이 올라오며 땀이 나기 시작하는데 젓가락을 내릴 수 없는 맛이다. 

근처 직장인들 허기진 배를 채우며 받은 스트레스를 다 털어버리고 나오게하는 그런 소중한 맛집이다. 

양이 적은건 절대 아닌데 그래도 배고프면 밥한그릇 추가해서 말아먹으면 끝.

아직은 하얀 육개장은 안 먹어봤지만 믿음이 간다. 

참고로 김치, 깍두기 그리고 단무지가 반찬으로 나오는데 굳이 필요하지 않다. 

솔직 담백한 재료들의 맛으로 충분하다. 

매운 맛을 잡아주는 단무지는 개인적으로 매워서 정신 없을 때 도움이 된다고 생각되지만,,,

Yukgaejang is shredded beef soup, which has been the staple Korean dishes that's been with us for generations after generations. 

This is spicy but is also refreshing. 

One sip of the broth will open your eyes. 

The broth is rather on the thicker side. 

There is a lot of green onion and shredded beef. 

When the bowl is served, you will be overwhelmed and think 'How can I finish this?' but trust me, you will. 

Yukgaejang is one of the options for hangover cure.

The thing is that even if you didn't drink the night before, you will feel that relaxing and refreshing feeling from this bowl of goodness. 

You will be energized from this one bowl. It will cure you from this toxic world... (maybe I am going too far with this #LOL )

Take a big piece of green onion and some shredded beef and put it on top of the noodle. (the green onion juices out sweetness fyi) 

Take a bite and slurp the noodle like you are taught. 

Now, go on and have a sip of the soup. 

Be careful, it may be pretty hot and damn good. 

You will sweat like you've done a round of Insanity. 

Your mouth will burn but you won't be able to put away your chopsticks. 

If you killed the noodle but still hungry, ask for a bowl of rice and dump it in... & enjoy.

If you are not a spice lord, they got a white version. 

The broth is white and not spicy at all. 

However, it still keeps that flavor-fullness that yukgaejang offers. 

I highly recommend that you pay them a visit.
