샘밭막국수는 메밀국수 마니아 및 막국수 마니아 사이에서 충분히 유명한 춘천으로부터 3대째 이어오고 있는 맛집이다. 

#3대가이어온춘천의맛 

춘천의 샘밭 분점인 샘밭막국수는 원래 교대역 1번 출구 뒷쪽에 위치했던 것으로 기억하는데 

무슨 이유에선지 모르지만 교대역 4번 출구에서 조금 속으로 들어오면 있는 G-Five 로 이전하였다.

혼밥이라 푸짐하게 시키진 못했지만 최대한 맛 볼 수 있도록 샘밭 정식으로 주문했다. 

샘밭 정식 = 막국수, 보쌈과 녹두전-!!

막국수는 비빔으로 제공되고 동치미 육수를 따로 제공해주신다. 

개인적으로 물을 좋아해서 바로 육수를 넣어 먹지만 처음에는 비빔으로 먹다가 중간에 육수 넣어서 비빔과 물을 다 즐기는 것도 방법이다. 

물론,, 먹고 싶은대로 먹는게 최고지만 ㅋ

​슴슴하고 메밀향과 들기름향이 은은한 막국수. 

메밀이라 소화도 편하고 맛은 워낙 맛집이니 믿고 가도 되는집. 

정식에서 나온 수육 김치가 좀 적었어서 중간에 조금 더 시켰던 것 외로는 좋았다. 

다음에는 친구랑 같이가서 보쌈 한접시 시켜서 든든히 먹기로-!!

더운 날씨에 제법 찾게되는 맛집 샘밭 막국수. 

오늘도 한그릇 시원하고 맛있게 잘 먹었습니다.

This is a restaurant that's been in the family for three generations. 

They first started in Chuncheon city of Korea about 40 years ago. 

There are about four locations including the one near kyodae station and it is approximately 5 minutes walking distance from the station.

I ordered their set menu and was served with steamed pork belly, mung bean pizza (lol) and buckwheat noodle. 

They serve the noodle with sauce and sesame seed oil and serve the broth separately. 

I usually pour the broth in right away but you can start your dish enjoying only the sauce and savory sesame flavor and pour in the broth in the middle of your bowl and finish it off with the refreshing cold broth. 

The steamed pork and kimchi was flavorful and the meat was very soft. 

Mung bean pizza is crispy outside and full of mean flavor in the middle. 

I highly recommend that you order set menu to enjoy various menus.

The buckwheat noodle tastes super good but is also easy to digest. 

Also, it is a perfect choice during summer when it's too hot and humid here in S. Korea. 

As I am writing this, I am getting hungry for that refreshing bowl of buckwheat noodle.

대방어를 먹어본 적이 없는 나로서 친구들이 방어를 외치는 이유를 몰랐다.

앞으로는 무조건 매해 겨울에는 방어 먹으러 갈꺼니 기대해라 방어들아.

지인 소개로 가게 된 강남보물섬. 

가기 전에 검색해보니 가격대가 좀 있는 곳으로 적혀있는데 그 가격에 맞는 수준의 신선하고 맛난 횟집으로 소문이 자자했다. 

방어 대자로 한접시 시켰더니 입 떡 벌어지게 준비해주시는데 우선 애피타이저?? 로 나온게,,,

- 돌멍개, 해삼, 전복, 멍개, 개불, 소라, 딱새우, 가이바시, 해남김치

​개인적으로 해산물을 잘 모르는데 멍개와 전복은 신선하다는게 확 느껴졌다. 

탱탱한게 식감이 아주 우수하고 멍개는 비려서 안 좋아하는데 비린 맛이 거의 없었다. 

돌멍개는 처음보는데 이게 그리 귀한 보약이라며... ㅎㅎ 

이모님께 제가 해산물 맛은 잘 모르는데 정말 신선한게 느껴진다고 말씀드리니 

삼형제가 운영하는데 큰 형님이 바닷배와 거래해서 갖고 오셔서 신선 할 수 밖에 없다고... 

역시 맛집은 식자제가 중요하고 신선한 식자재를 공수하는 부지런한 사장님이 계신다.

해산물만 신선한게 아니라,,, 해남 김치가 좀 입맛을 확 잡아 당겨준다. 

약간 시큼하고 퀘퀘한데 밥 한공기는 바로 뚝딱-!! 하게하는 맛이다. 

진심 밥 한공기 해치우고 싶었으나 대방어 먹어야하니 꾸욱 참기로-!!

대방어는 대방어, 참돔, 놀래미 로 구성되어 있다. 

방어가 이렇게 기름진 생선인줄 몰랐다. 

먹고 먹고 또 먹어도 계속 먹게 되는데 무슨 참치 뱃살 파티하는 기분?? 아니,,, 그 이상이었다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 

입안 가득 축복 받는 느낌이었다. 

대방어... 안 드셔보셨으면 어서 드셔보시고 지역이 강남이시면 신선한 횟집인 강남보물섬에서 드시길 추천합니다. 

왜 굳이 강남 보물섬을 추천하냐하면.... 

ㅂㅇㄱㅊㅉ 이 있기 때문입니다.

방어 김치찜으로 마무리를 했는데 방어 김치찜만 따로 먹으러 와야겠다.

Have you ever had Yellowtail Amberjack? 

If you have not, you wil be blown away by how rich in flavor they are-!! 

My friends kept mentioning yellowtail amberjack and honestly, I did not know what the big fuss was about. 

All I can say is that there may be people that has never had it but there cannot be someone that has only had it once cause it's rich and natural flavor is going to make you come back asking for more.

​I am not too big on seafood but the appetizer dish made up of sea squirt, sea cucumber, abalone, fan shell and etc., that they served were super fresh. 

The texture of each bite was full of flavors from the sea. 

The lady that served us informed us that the restaurant is owned by three brothers and the oldest one goes out to the ocean side and purchases all the ingredients each day and brings them to the restaurant.

Therefore, the freshness is guaranteed-!!

​While we were enjoying the appetizer, a huge dish full of yellowtail amberjack was served. 

It looked beautiful and before I had a chance to take a picture of it, the server took a piece, dipped it in a sesame oil and salt mix and shoved it right into my mouth and I must say... it was heavenly-!! 

I thought toro was delicious and full of flavor but hands down, imo, yellowtail amberjack wins. 

It was so rich and it just melted in my mouth. 

From the first bite, I knew that I was coming back for more.

We finished the dinner with one more dish, a yellowtail amberjack and kimchi stew. 

The rich fattening taste of yellowtail amberjack and spicy kick of kimchi tangled and made love just so that they could pleasure us. 

It was beautiful. 

I could down couple bowls of rice with this no problem.

It was lovely dinner. I am definately coming back for more. 

Highly recommend it. It was good-!!!

​하나씩 다 설명하기 어려운데 진심 맛있었다. 

기억에 남는 메뉴는 입안에서 녹는 참치 뱃살, 참치 뱃살 스시. 

안 그래도 좋아하는 고니인데 복어 고니는 입 안에서 고소함만 남기고 그냥 녹아내렸다. 

우니와 생새우 마키는 달콤하고 고소한게 이런 음식의 존재에 감사 할 수 밖에 없는 맛이고 후토마키는 입안 가득 행복 그 자체였다. 

계란구이는 처음에 씹는 그 순간 결이 느껴지는 수준의 식감이었고 이 모든 신선하고 정성된 음식을 깔끔하게 마무리해준 딸기 크림치즈 아이스크림.

좋은 사람과 함께 가고 싶은 식당 스시 소라.

A friend of mine has been mentioning sushi omakase for a long time and he mentioned that's where he wants to go for his birthday. 

The building is quite easy to find. 

However, when you go down to basement one floor, which is the floor that the restaurant is located, it is a bit tough to locate.. but of course, we managed.

Steamed egg with ball-shaped rice cake, Halibut, Fin of halibut, Ark shell, Toro, Abalone (steamed for three hours), Soy sauce boiled octopus, Halibut sushi, King fish sushi, Cuttler fish sushi, Toro sushi, Tuna sushi, Blowfish intestine (sounds weird but it is super delicious), Uni and raw fish maki, Monkfish liver maki, Black-throat fish sushi, Mackerel maki, Eel sushi, Futomaki (fat maki), Grilled egg (grilled for one and a half hours), Udon and Strawberry cream cheese ice-cream.

​Every single pieces served were heavenly. 

They were so fresh and kept taste and texture of how each fish were supposed to taste. 

The dishes that really got to me was toro (of course), toro sushi (again,,, of course-!!), blowfish intestine (Yes, it sounds a bit weird and ew~~~ but I love fish intestine to begin with and the blowfish intestine that was cooked to delicacy just melted with its supreme flavor filling up my mouth) and futomaki. 

The one and a half hour grilled egg was amazing. 

As I bit into it, I could actually feel the layers of eggs crunching and vanishing into my mouth. (Maybe Chicken-Thanos snapped his finger? lol) 

All these courses of fresh and thoroughly prepared dishes could not end better with a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. 

The textures of strawberries were so very fresh-!!

I just want to take a time and say 'Thank you-!!' to chef Hwak Seong, Cho. 

He made my mouth taste like a heaven for an hour. Will I ever go back? Most definitely-!!

신사에서 신사답게 이자카야에서 만나기로... #아재개그 

이자카야는 잘 안 다녀서 모르는데 검색하다 알게 된 두사라를 가보기로 하였다. 

우선 #모듬회 와 #우니육회 주문했다. 

이런저런 후기를 보니 이 두 메뉴는 거의 빠지지 않고 나왔고 직원분도 추천해주신 #추천메뉴 였다.

모듬회는 신선도가 높았다. 

요식업에 종사하는 지인도 회가 신선하다고 극찬을... 

다행이다. 내가 가자고 한 곳인데... ㅎㅎ 

개인적으로 가리비와 고등어 회가 좋았다. 

가리비는 대학 시절 친구가 그리고 고등어회는 아버지께서 좋아하셔서 그런지 나도 좋아하게 되었다.

개인적으로 기대했던 우니육회. 

육회는 내 사랑이고 우니는 최근 알아가는 맛인데 고소한게 괜찮다. 

우니랑 육회랑 잘 어울릴까? 싶었는데 

개인적으로... 내 입맛의 수준이 떨어져서 우니와 육회의 조합을 맛있다-!! 라고 느끼지 못했다. 

우니는 우니 따로 그리고 육회는 육회 따로 먹었을 때가 난 개인적으로 더 맛있는듯... 

내가 아직 부족한가보다. 다 좋은 식자재인데 말이다...

다른 메뉴도 맛봐야하는데 한국의 이차 문화로 인하여 다른 메뉴는 다음 방문에 더 맛보기로 기원하고...

I do not know much about izakaya but a friend of mine and I decided to check out an izakaya called two dishes. 

Every blog posts that I've checked had both various sashimi plate and uni & raw meat dish. 

The server also recommended the uni & raw meat dish as one of their staple menu.

​The various sashimi dish was superb. The served sashimi were fresh. 

I especially enjoyed the makarel and scallop. 

Makarel is one of my father's favorites and scallop is one of my good old buddy's favorite.

Uni is something new I've been trying and loving and raw meat has always been my favorite. 

Therefore, the combination of them both got me hyped up. 

However, to my taste buds, it didn't do the trick. 

They were good but I think I would have enjoyed them more if I had them separately. 

Don't get me wrong, they were both very fresh and tasted amazing. 

It's just that I am not yet ready for such a delicacy.

We only had time to enjoy couple of their menus. 

Looking forward to visiting them in near future to try other menus they offer.

평안도 출신 50명이 꼽은 평양냉면집의 1위를 차지한 평양면옥. 

그리고 맛집 소개 어플 ‘식신’ 에서 평양냉면 검색하여 클릭을 가장 많이 한 곳도 평양면옥. 

하지만 매번 #우래옥 가느라 지나쳐만 갔다. #ㅋ

육수는 맑고 평양냉면만의 그 심심하고 밋밋하면서 시원한 맛... 제대로다. 

면은 메밀 함량이 높은 평양냉면의 면처럼 툭툭 끊어지지는 않지만 절대 질기지는 않다. 

개인적으로 너무 툭툭 끊어지는 면보다는 그렇지 않은 면을 선호한다. 물론 질긴 면을 원하지도 않고-!! 

냉면보다 만두가 맛있다고 소문날 정도로 만두 맛집인데 모르고 갔기 때문에 #제육 반접시를 시켰다. 

제육은 #필동면옥 의 특유 소스에 길들여져서 그런지 제육만 먹지는 않게 되었고 냉면 먹을 때마다 하나씩 하나씩… ㅎㅎ 

다음에는 만두를 먹어보기로-!!

Fat kids love chocolate cakes and I love pyeongyang naengmyeon. 

This is unquestionable fact. 

I've always drove by Pyeongyang Myeonoak as I was always too busy going straight to #wooraeoak

I decided to make the change and paid a visit to Pyeongyang Myeonoak. 

I ordered a bowl of cold buckwheat noodle with half dish of steamed pork. 

The bowl of naengmyeon came and I indeed went straight for the broth taste. 

It does not have too much of taste but is refreshing. 

This is what's special about pyeongyang naengmyeon. 

The noodle did not break easily, which is the case for the noodles containing high percentage of buck wheat. 

This is personal preference but I prefer the noodle that does not break too easily but also is not too chewy. 

Peyongyang Myeonoak's noodle was just about right. 

The steamed pork was good but I am used to the special sauce that they serve at #pildongmyeonoak and therefore, it was a bit blend to eat by itself. 

So, I pleasured each bite of my noodle with a slice of sliced steamed pork.

​Based on the reviews that I've read after my visit, I am finding out that their dumpling is off the chart. 

Some even say that their dumplings are better than their naengmyeon. 

So, I am making a mental note to have some dumpling on my next visit. 

Of course, I am not skipping out on naengmyeon just because some said that their dumpling was better than naengmyeon.

Naengmyeon is supposed to be eaten during winter when it's freezing cold. 

However, we are the witnesses of the long waiting lines at naengmyeon restaurants during summer and summer seems to be just around the corner. 

So, let's get ready for some deliciously refreshing bowls.

Bukhara Restaurant 북하라

​Bukhara Restaurant

Bukhara is one of the restaurant that I visit whenever I am in Tehran, Iran. 

I stumbled upon them during my last visit but if I ever do visit again, it will be my second restaurant that I visit, right after Shandiz for sure.

I asked for a recommendation and they recommended Tahchin Shirazi. 

#tachinshirazi would have to be one of the best cuisines that I've had in #tehran #iran 

It is a Persian Baked Rice Cake that consists of rice yogurt #saffron vegetables, chicken or other red meat. 

I ordered one with shrimp and the aroma of saffron and the spices that was added really made the crispy baked #persian rice flavorful. 

Of course, the sweet flavor of shrimp only made it better.

​북하라

이란 출장 시 얼떨결에 들어가게 된 식당인 북하라. 

정말 이란에서 최고의 식당 중 하나라고 얘기해도 과언이 아닌 것 같다. 

사장님과 직원들이 친절한 것은 물론이고 음식들이 입맛에 너무 잘 맞는다. 

물론, 내 사랑 샨디즈 다음으로 ㅎㅎ

음식 추천을 부탁했는데 타친시라지라는 #이란스타일 #새우볶음밥 을 추천해주셨다. 

비주얼은 보시다싶이 대단한데 향과 맛이 일품이다. 

향은 일단 샤프론과 각종 향신료의 향이 강하다. 

향신료와 후추가 좀 들어가있어서 뒷끝이 매콤해 한국인 입맛에 잘 맞는다.

식후 차 한잔과 설탕 막대기는 필수 코스-!!

난 직장 다니며 처음 #순대국 을 먹게 되었다. 

내 첫 순대국은 #안양 의 진지방에서-!! 

아, 정말 이렇게 구수하고 맛있을수​가 있다니~ 

정말 #내취향이야

첫 직장 첫 출근한 날 점심에 해외 지사에서 부장님이 한국에 오셔서 외식을 하게 되었고 근처 맛집인 순대국에 순대 접시를 추가해서 먹었다. 

같이 간 동료가 고기만 먹는다고해서 고기를 좋아하는 나도 덩달아 고기만을 시켰다. #고기사랑

워낙 순대국 전문 집이고 점심 시간이라 바로나온 팔팔 끓는 순대국 한그릇. 

냄새가 구수했고 돼지의 비린내도 안났다. 

조심스레 국물 한 숫갈 떠먹어보니 진한 사골 육수 맛에 아주 구수했다. 

다들 새우젓과 들깨가루를 넣길레 나도 같이 넣고 옆에 있으니 다대기도 좀 넣어봤다. 

밥과 국을 따로 먹는 분들도 계시지만 나는 말아먹는 것을 좋아하니 한그릇 다 넣으니 넘칠듯 말듯~ 

양 참 많다 ㅎㅎ~ 

한 숫갈 한 숫갈 먹을 때마다 된장을 약간 올려 먹으니 정말 꿀맛이었다. 

그런데 여기에 순대국 맛을 한층 업그레이드 해주는 것은 다름아닌 깍두기와 김치-!! 

정말 적당히 익은 깍두기와 김치가 (개인적으로 깍두기를 더 선호함) 구수한 진지방의 순대국과 잘 어울렸다.

지인 #페이스북 #인스타 덕분에 알게 된 평양냉면맛집 정인면옥. 

검색해보니 직장과 가까워서 검색 후 이삼일만에 방문하게 되었다. 

광명역에서 약 10분 정도 걸어가니 뒷골목에 위치한 정인면옥. 

외진 곳인데 손님은 끊이지 않고 계속 이어졌다.

#물냉면 과 #녹두전 주문완료 마음 같아서는 차돌박이 수육도 맛보고 싶었지만 혼자 간 관계로 조촐히 식사하기로 했다. 

옆에 온 커플은 #들기름메밀면 을 먹느냐 #비빔냉면 을 먹느냐 한참 고민하던데 

고소한 향이 옆자리에 있던 나에게까지 가득 전달되었던 들기름 메밀면도 맛보고 싶다.

​녹두알이 있어 바삭하고 고소한 녹두전에 도톰한 #삼겹살 도 올라가있어서 더욱 맛있게 먹었다. 

다음에는 삼겹살을 더 많이 올려주시면 좋을텐데... 라고 생각하며 ㅎㅎ 

물냉면은 을지동 쪽의 평양냉면 맛집과 비슷하게 고추가루가 뿌러져있다. 

나오자마자 육수 맛을 먼저 보는 것이 정석이다. 

정인면옥의 육수는 슴슴하고 시원했고 면은 메밀의 함량이 높아서 툭툭 끊어지는 것이 예술이다.

다음에 간다면 직장 동료와 같이 가서 차돌박이 수육과 들기름 메밀면을 도전해야겠다. #사장님잘먹었습니다

A friend of mine posted on her #facebook and #instagram a #pyeongyang #naengmyeon restaurant that was near my office. 

Being the #naengmyeonlover that I am, I went there #asap It was located about 10 minute walk distance from gwangmyeon station exit 8. 

It was in a back alley and was cold late afternoon but the visitors did not stop coming in.

I ordered naengmyeon and mung bean pancake. 

Honestly, wanted to try their brisket but I knew it would be excessive overeating... 

A couple sitting across from my table were debating rather to order a bibim naengmyeon, a spicy cold buckwheat noodle or perilla oil based noodle, which smelt so so good-!!

The mung bean texture was very crisp and the #samgyupsal or #porkbelly on the pancake was a nice touch. 

Loved the crispy texture and the delicious meat. 

The only downside is that I wished that there was more samgyupsal... LOL 

The naengmyeon came with a bit of red pepper on top, which can be commonly seen near naengmyeon restaurants in #eulji area. 

When you get a bowl of naengmyeon, the very first thing you must do is to take a sip of the broth. 

It was not too strong but very refreshing. 

The noodle contained a lot of buckwheat which gave it a bit of rough texture with a buckwheaty taste, which I loved.

Next time, I am definately hitting it up again with a colleague of mine.
