​Bukhara Restaurant

Bukhara is one of the restaurant that I visit whenever I am in Tehran, Iran. 

I stumbled upon them during my last visit but if I ever do visit again, it will be my second restaurant that I visit, right after Shandiz for sure.

I asked for a recommendation and they recommended Tahchin Shirazi. 

#tachinshirazi would have to be one of the best cuisines that I've had in #tehran #iran 

It is a Persian Baked Rice Cake that consists of rice yogurt #saffron vegetables, chicken or other red meat. 

I ordered one with shrimp and the aroma of saffron and the spices that was added really made the crispy baked #persian rice flavorful. 

Of course, the sweet flavor of shrimp only made it better.

이란 출장 시 얼떨결에 들어가게 된 식당인 북하라. 

정말 이란에서 최고의 식당 중 하나라고 얘기해도 과언이 아닌 것 같다. 

사장님과 직원들이 친절한 것은 물론이고 음식들이 입맛에 너무 잘 맞는다. 

물론, 내 사랑 샨디즈 다음으로 ㅎㅎ

음식 추천을 부탁했는데 타친시라지라는 #이란스타일 #새우볶음밥 을 추천해주셨다. 

비주얼은 보시다싶이 대단한데 향과 맛이 일품이다. 

향은 일단 샤프론과 각종 향신료의 향이 강하다. 

향신료와 후추가 좀 들어가있어서 뒷끝이 매콤해 한국인 입맛에 잘 맞는다.

식후 차 한잔과 설탕 막대기는 필수 코스-!!

Bukhara is one of my favorite restaurants in #tehran #iran 

Bukhara has various of menus to choose from and each one of the cuisines are so very special. 

I found out about the restaurant during my last visit. 

I wish I knew about them earlier cause I would have visited a lot more.

From their various menus, the first thing that I tried was #tachinshirazi 

It had #saffronrice and layers of lamb and eggplant inside with golden rice crust covering the delicious dish.

​The bite of tachin shirazi was simply amazing. 

It had delicious #safforon rice flavor with slices of juicy lamb and to top everything off, the crunchy golden rice crust added so much character to the dish. 

I totally fell in love.

The owners were nice enough to give me a cup of tea #chai and the #safforonsugar 

It was so much joy to visit Bukhara. Looking forward to visiting them in the future.

이란에 한두번 출장 다닌 것도 아닌데 왜 이제 알게 된건지... 라고 생각했다. 

보통 알고있는 중동 지역의 음식과 차원이 다르지만 지극히 전통적인 이란 음식을 맛 볼 수 있는 곳이다. 

우선 처음 맛보게 된 음식은 타친 시라지 이다. 시라지 지역의 타친이라는 음식인데 정말 너무 맛있게 먹었다.

이란에서 자주 볼 수 있는 #샤프론밥 안에 얇은 양고기와 알맞게 조리된 가지도 겹겹이 들어가있다. 

이것만도 충분히 맛있을텐데 겉이 누릉지처럼 살짝 딱딱하다. 

그래서 바삭바삭한 질감을 즐기며 따뜻한 샤프론 밥과 고소한 양고기와 가지를 만끽 할 수 있는 아주 훌륭한 요리다.

​중동 지역 출장가면 고기를 많이 먹게되는데 (주로 고기와 밥 나옴) 이렇게 바삭함도 볶음밥도 아니고 덮밥도 아니고 새로운 음식을 맛 보게 되어 너무 좋았다. 

그리고 한국인 입맛에 잘 맞으니 이란 출장을 가게되면 필히 맛보길 #강추 한다.

Gilaneh 길라네

Gilaneh is a restaurant that I go at least once each time I visit Tehran for #businesstrip 

The reason would have to be their delicate cuisines but also the cozy interior that makes you feel at home. 

I think that the manager is only one that speaks English and he was kind enough to show me what's good.

​My recommendations are #lambchop #koobideh and #sourkebab

Gilaneh's lamb chop is tender and juicy. 

It is flavorful enough to enjoy the spices but not so strong that it gets in the way of enjoying the lamb itself. 

Koobideh, grounded beef or lamb marinated in olive oil and onion is one of the classic #iraniancuisines and I must say, 

Gilaneh does it very well. Koobideh from Gilaneh does not have strong smell but when you take a bite, it's so tender and flavorful that it silences you and makes you focus on eating.

​Of course, last but not least, the sour kebab is what makes Gilneh so special. 

I think it is called #torschkebab 

The sour kebab is a special cuisine from Northern part of Iran. 

I do not know what makes the kebab sour but it is really good and really easy to digest.

If you ever have the chance to visit Tehran, Iran, I highly recommend that you checkout Gilaneh.

이란으로 #출장 가면 꼭 한번은 가는 식당은 테헤란의 길라네다. 

우선 호텔에서도 가깝지만 이란 전통 음식을 먹을 수 있는데 음식들이 참 깨끗하고 냄새가 덜하다.

​우선 가격은 조금 있지만 꼭 먹어야하는 양갈비. 

중동의 양갈비는 참 맛있는데 좀 냄새가 난다. 

하지만 길라네는 냄새가 덜하고 고기도 연하고 육즙이 아주 일품이다. 

어쩧면 다른 식당들보다 더 좋은 고기를 쓰는 것 같다 라는 생각을 할 정도로 고기 퀄러티가 좋다. 

다음은 #쿠비데 쿠비데는 #양고기 나 #소고기 다진 것을 #양파 와 #올리브유 에 저려서 꼬치에 굽는 이란의 대표 음식 중 하나이다. 

다른 식당에서 쿠비데를 먹으면 향신료 향이 강해서 거부감 있을 수 있지만 길라네는 향신료 향이 강하지 않으니 추천-!!

​그리고 길라네를 다른 이란 식당보다 특별하게 만드는 새콤한 케밥. 

이란 북쪽 지역의 음식인데 케밥에 새콤한 소스가 위에 발라져서 나온다. 

중간중간 곁들여 먹기에 아주 좋은 메뉴이고 한번도 안 먹어봤다면 꼭 먹어봐야하는 음식 중 하나다. 

이란을 가면 필히 가게되는 길라네. 

그리고 꼭 먹게되는 세가지 메뉴. 

안 간지 오래 되어 그런지 좀 땡기네... ㅎㅎ

I visited #tehran #iran couple times as a #businesstrip 

Meeting clients for business discussion and future cooperation & development and laughing and becoming friend is always good. 

However, there is one thing that I look forward to more than meeting my clients.

The first restaurant that I visit when I arrive in Iran is #shandizrestaurant and of course, I order shishlik and some buttered rice with #saffron 

They serve #flatbread with an amazing #butter and they follow it up with some side dishes such as #cucumberyogurt #salad olives and etc. 

However, I usually pass on those as I want to fill my stomach with as much as shishlik as possible.​

The shishlik is served skewered on a long knife ... (or similar...) 

Anyways, this is where I stand up and grab one end of the skewer and point the other onto the dish and slide off each #lambchops

The #meat is so #tender and #juicy and the #spices on shishlik is just so #delicious (I just had lunch and writing this post is making me hungry and drool a bit even.)​

많은 사람들이 이란을 방문할 기회가 있는 것은 아니다. 

하지만 해외영업을 하면서 직업 특성상 해외를 종종 가는데 중동 지역 담당이라 이란을 몇번 방문할 기회가 있었다.

해외 출장 나가면 거래선과 미팅하고 회사의 이익을,,, 더 앞서 나아가 우리 나라의 이익을 위하여 거래선과 협의하고 등등 좋지만 현지 음식을 먹는 재미도 있다. 

가장 기대되는 곳이 하나 있는데,, 그곳이 이란인데 그 이유는 이란의 샨디즈 라는 식당은 세계 최고의 #양갈비 를 제공하기 때문이다. 

약 1미터가 넘는 칼같은 것에 양갈비 5~6 덩어리를 꽂아주는데 이것도 정말 그림이다-!! 

샨디즈 양갈비가 나오면 양갈비 꼬치의 끝 부분 (뾰족하지 않은 부분) 을 잡고 뾰족한 부분은 그릇으로 향하게 하고 한덩어리씩 빼낸다. 

다 뺀 꼬치는 옆으로 치워두고 쉬지 않고 먹기 시작하면 #jmt #존맛탱

​양갈비 외로 이란 #샤프론밥 을 같이 시키고 (옵션 아님. 꼭 시켜야지 맛있게 먹을 수 있음) #오이요거트 샐러드 등의 전체도 있지만 

양갈비에 집중하기 위하여 안 시킨다. 하지만 기본으로 나오면 빵과 버터는 맛있으니 나오자마자 따뜻할 때 먹어야한다-!!

세마젠 카페 앤 레스토랑 Semazen Cafe & Restaurant

우선 세마젠 카페 앤 레스토랑은 특출난 맛집이다-!! 라고 말하기에는 어렵다. 

하지만 위치는 이스탄불의 관광지인 #아야소피아 와 굉장히 가깝고 대로변에 있기 때문에 접근성이 매우 뛰어나다. 

개인적으로 출장 시, 이 식당 뒷쪽의 호텔에 투숙하고 있어서 미팅 나가기 전에 간단히 식사 해결한 수준인데 워낙 #도네르 를 좋아하기 때문에 맛있게 먹었다.

도네르는 몇몇가지 종류가 있다. 

토마토 소스에 적셔지고 난 같은 #전병 과 #구운고추 와 #요거트 와 함께 제공되는 도네르가 있고 

제가 개인적으로 선호하는 밥과 약간의 #야채샐러드 와 전병과 함께 제공되는 도네르가 있다. 

고기에 약간의 향신료 향이 있고 짭자름한 맛이다. 

소금간 된 #기름진고기 와 밥을 먹는 것으로 생각하면 될 것 같다.

대부분의 음식들이 #후렌치후라이 와 함께 제공되는데 #배불러도다먹는걸로 #ㅎㅎ 물론 #케찹은필수 

#터키 에서 향신료 강한 현지 음식이 안 맞는 분이시라면 #도네르추천

* 참고로 세마젠 카페 앤 레스토랑은 주위에 #블루모스크 #그랜드바자 등 관광 장소가 많기 때문에 

그 주변에서 관광하고 식사하고 쇼핑하기에 딱 좋은 위치다. 재방문 의사는 당연히-!! 언제 터키 출장 갈 일이 생길진 모르지만...?? ㅎㅎ

Semazen Cafe & Restaurant is at the heart of the Istanbul. 

When I say that it is at the heart of Istanbul, I am just saying that it is in the middle of #grandbazaar #bluemosque #ayasofiya and many shops nearby. 

Majority of shopping items such as #turkishdelight #baklava and etc. are available on the street where the Semazen Cafe is located. 

Also, the environment of Semazen Cafe is so full of life as it is packed with visitors checking the beautiful site of Istanbul.

I ordered doner with rice as it is my favorite dish from Turkey. 

I do enjoy other cuisines that are full of spices and flavors but I tend to enjoy this thinly sliced lamb meat that's got slight of spices and just enough fat to give an amazing flavor with chewy texture when you take the bite. 

It is a bit salty and goes very well with the buttery rice that the restaurant serves.

I try to end all my lunch or dinner with a bite of #kunefe but I forgot to take a picture. 

Maybe next time. Well, I cannot wait til I visit Turkey again and get a mouth full of tasty doner. #imissyoudoner
