우연히 발견한 블랙 버드-!! 

블랙 버드는 필리핀의 첫 상업용 공항인 니엘슨타워를 리모델링한 식당이다. 

최대한 니엘슨 타워의 모습을 간직하며 모던한 식당을 연출한 블랙 버드. 

각종 모임, 접대, 데이트의 성지소다. 

실내와 실외에 자리가 있는데 실외는 더우니 패스. 

조금만 선선하면 실외에서 저녁 식사는 최상급 데이트일 듯-!! 

실내는 굉장히 모던하다. 

넓고 천장고는 높고 인테리어가 밝아서 너무 좋다. 

결혼하면 와이프랑 기분내러 오고 싶은 식당-!! 

물론 난 싱글이고 한국에 살지만… 

혹 필리핀을 오게 된다면…?? ㅋ

​주문한 요리는 메추리알 새우살 튀김, 블랙버드 햄버거, 모짜렐라 피자. 

메추리알을 반숙했다. 

와, 정말. 

기대 이상의 맛이다. 

바삭-!! 한 겉은 새우살 튀김. 

속에서는 메추리알 노른자가 흘러나오고. 

베텔잎 (구장나무잎) 의 향긋함은 모든 것을 감싸주었다. 

이건 강추. 

다시오면 꼭 시킬 메뉴-!! 

햄버거는 괜찮았다. 

수준있는 햄버거라고 말하긴 어렵지만…. 

적당히 괜찮았던… 

한국 들어가면 제대로 된 #길벗버거 먹으러 가야지. #ㅋ 

모짜렐라 피자는 수준급. 

치즈 막 녹고. 토마토 소스 향 한입 가득하고. 

재방문 시 다시 시킬 수 있다. 

아니면 모짜렐라 피자가 맛있었으니 다른 피자 도전을 유도하는 맛인-!!

I accidentally found Black Bird. 

It was just really beautiful building that captured my eyes. 

I walked in and it was a restaurant. 

I made a mental note to visit here for dinner… and I did. #^^ 

It used to be the Philippines first commercial airport. 

They remodeled it so it is a restaurant now. 

It was one of those restaurants that is perfect for a date night, gathering with friends and family. 

Totally fell in love with the place.

​I ordered three dishes. Prawn Scotch Eggs, Blackbird Burger and Buffalo Mozzarella Pizza. 

The Prawn Scotch Eggs was heavenly. 

The crispy out layer of prawn, dripping yolk of a scotch egg and betel leaves that wraps up with savory flavor. 

I am definitely coming back for this. 

Hopefully, with a wifey… but where are you??? #lol 

Alright, moving on to the burger. 

It was okay. 

Good patty but it did not give me that jaw dropping, eyes closing aww~ taste. 

The mozzarella pizza was on point tho. 

Dripping with cheese and amount of tomato sauce was just enough that it filled my mouth with a juicy flavors. 

Definitely going to try other pizzas next time I visit.
